- There’s a BIG difference between activity and accomplishment… between being busy and being productive. Answering emails may seem productive, but the clock is ticking. If you’re not processing them OUT of the Inbox into other (better!) systems for reference or action, then you’re just spinning your wheels. If you don’t have a solid system in place to manage emails, attachments and the information within emails, your productivity is at great risk.
- Software and apps are limited in their ability to support you. There are 2 critical elements necessary for you to manage tasks, time, e-mail and information, as well as make progress in your workday, and an app can’t help you with either one.
- Without a methodology for your technology you’ll experience resistance. You’re trying to move forward, but your current system—or the lack of systems—is holding you back.
